School of Noise presents: An Afternoon of Sound
The School of Noise will be bringing a collection of musical and scientific equipment for all ages to play and experiment on. Try your hand at the theremin, discover beautiful Chladni patterns in sand using vibration, use fruit and veg to control musical sounds plus more!

About the event
During the event there will be rare and unusual instruments for people to play on such as a theremin and omnichord, a talk on the psychology of music, live music from electronic band Field Glass, plus a talk on the A–Z of Sound!
This family friendly workshop is designed to encourage people to consider the impact that sound can have on our lives, and to leave you with fascinating facts to impress your friends!
