Marianne Dissard is back in her ex-hometown of Ramsgate with a new photographic series made whilst traveling by Amtrak trains in the United States in 2024.
'No-Road Trip USA' is Dissard's third major photographic series in four years after 'Hands, Faces, Ramsgate: The Year Christmas Was Cancelled' (installed in Ramsgate Port in summer 2021 and locally known as 'The Fence' for its location on Military Road) and 'Lights Out Knightsbridge' (exhibited on empty storefronts of Ramsgate's High Street for the 2023 Ramsgate Festival of Sound).
