Our opening event at St George’s church will be a synth concert like no other, performed by the brilliant LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER, with two opening acts - Rosie Carr and Microfilm (Mark Bandola & Richard Armstrong-Sealand) creating a trifecta of sonic brilliance.

Sam Battle a.ka. Look Mum No Computer
For Look Mum No Computers headline performance he is rebuilding Potakosmo, a portable analog modular synthesiser (of course!) made for making esoteric electronic music.
Expect sounds from classical to upbeat electronic beats using utterly fascinating analog technology!
One of Sam's biggest projects is setting up an audio museum in Ramsgate called This Museum is (not) Obsolete, which houses a lot of his machine creations amongst many other historic experimental electronic items. This is open to the public throughout the Festival of Sound as part of the Sonic Trail.
